Ashridge Sparkling Vintage Cider is an exciting new drink. By using the traditional method, or “méthode champenoise” (as of Champagne), an elegant dry, fully sparkling drink is produced. It retains delicious apple aromas and flavours, within a refreshing crisp sparkle. Certainly not to be confused with “Farmhouse Cider” or “Scrumpy”. When served well chilled it is an excellent aperitif, perfect for special occasions, and great with a summer lunch or picnic. Why not go the whole hog and have a champagne breakfast with local smoked salmon and scrambled eggs!

Ashridge Cider uses unsprayed apples grown on organically certified orchards in South Devon to produce bottle fermented vintage sparkling cider.

Ashridge Vintage was recently awarded a Three Star Gold Award at the Great Taste Awards held at Olympia in London. It was the only cider to receive the top award of Three Stars.

Vegetarian - These products all state that they are vegetarian / vegan on their packaging. Items that are naturally suitable for vegetarians are not included.

Gluten-Free - These products all carry an on-pack claim stating that they are gluten free.

Ethical - To classify as ethical all of these products have had to meet Joshua’s own strict ethical criteria, meaning we consider them to be ethically produced.

Biodynamic - Biodynamic products are those that have been produced using biodynamic methods. More information on biodynamic agriculture .

Local - Local products have all been produced in Devon or within one hour of our store.

Wheat-Free - These products all claim they are wheat free on their packaging

Joshua’s - These products are all either Joshua’s branded, or made by our chef and his team here on site.
